Aultbea All The Way!

Aultbea has various craft & gift shops, tea rooms, well stocked general store, butcher, post office, doctor’s surgery, and several churches.  There is also two hotels in the area, The Aultbea Hotel www.aultbeahotel.co.uk and The Drumchork.

 

Aultbea has a small harbour at Aird Point. The moorings below the main road south of Aultbea relate to a NATO naval refuelling facility and explains the presence of warships in the loch from time to time

Situated in North West Scottish Highlands in a beautiful and tranquil setting Aultbea lies on the beautiful coast of Wester Ross overlooking the shores of Loch Ewe. 

The area has many interesting walks some on your doorstep and some just a short drive away.  Fishing is also very popular and available either by Loch, River or Sea.  Within a 10 Mile drive you will find some of the most spectacular beaches in the Highlands of Scotland.
